About
Us
A quilter for more than twenty years, Elizabeth Fulghum left the corporate
jungle in 2001. Quilting brought solace and sanity as she thought about
what to do next. Quilting brought the answer in the form of
"issues" that kept arising while finishing UFOs. Elizabeth
haunted the local quilt shops looking for a gadget that would quickly
solve the math calculations that kept coming up for borders and binding.
Not finding a tool in the shops, Elizabeth created one for herself - and
after showing her gadget to quilting friends and family, Quilter's Wizards
were born.
Elizabeth's husband Brad founded Paradigm Engineering, Inc. in 1983. It
is a product development company with expertise taking a glimmer of an
idea through the engineering, design, and prototype phases through to
production. Paradigm serves a wide variety of industries, ranging from
aerospace, to consumer products, medical equipment, pet products and toys.
Paradigm Engineering provided a launch pad for the Quilter's Wizards
product line. We formed a Quilting Tools division under the existing
corporate umbrella, which is run by Elizabeth.
The Quilter's Wizards logo was created by our good friend and colleague,
Patricia Ballentine. Follow the artwork link to see more of her work.
Brad and Elizabeth reside in Queen Creek, Arizona, with seven Akitas -
Tasha, Mason, Kitti, Cadence, Taima, Madison and Trooper, competing in
conformation, obedience and rally. See pictures of
the dogs at their web site, Legend
Akitas.
